In his capacity as Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Chairman-in-Office, North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani will pay a working visit to Ukraine on Monday.
The visit is part of North Macedonia's 2023 OSCE Chairmanship programme which singles out Ukraine as its highest priority, Skopje’s Foreign Affairs Ministry said on Sunday.
In Kyiv, Osmani will hold meetings with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) Chair Ruslan Stefanchuk. Osmani will visit a Child Rights Protection Centre and will get familiar with the work of the Ukrainian emergency service units.
The OSCE support programme for Ukraine provides assistance in many areas, including the promotion of rule of law and mitigation of the environmental and economic impacts of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine, the Ministry added.
Ukraine was the first country that Osmani visited as OSCE Chairman-in-Office since North Macedonia began its Chairpersonship on January 1, 2023.
