Another 115 Romanian citizens returned to Romania from Israel on Monday on a flight operated by a private airline, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is quoted as saying by AGERPRES on Tuesday.

In addition to the information provided in the context of the deteriorating security situation in the State of Israel and the Gaza Strip, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that, following the constant efforts of its task force, on October 9, 2023, another 115 Romanian citizens returned to Romania on a flight operated by a private airline. 

At the same time, the Ministry reiterated its recommendation to Romanian citizens who intend to travel to Israel to reschedule their trip.

Early on Tuesday, another 596 Romanian citizens returned to Romania from Israel, AGERPRES also reported. The citizens arrived on two flights operated by Romania's national air carrier TAROM and two other flights operated by private airlines. On Monday, Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said that 780 more Romanian citizens in Israel have asked to be brought back to their homeland and the national airline, TAROM, will help them return to the country, news website Nuz.ro said.
