Interior Minister Kalin Stoyanov and a delegation of Bulgaria's Prosecution Office, led by acting Prosecutor General Borslav, are on an official visit to Ankara, the press services of the government and the prosecution service said Monday. 

The visit is at the invitation of Turkish Prosecutor General Bekir Shaheen and Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. Another meeting is scheduled with the Turkish Justice Minister Yilmaz Tunc.

The delegation of the Interior Ministry includes Deputy Minister Stoyan Temelakiev, directors of the Directorate General for Combating Organized Crime and the Directorate General for Border Police, Chief Commissioner Yavor Serafimov and Chief Commissioner Anton Zlatanov.

The delegation of the Prosecution Office includes Deputy Administrative Head of Sofia Appellate Prosecution Emilia Rusinova, Sofia City Prosecutor Iliana Kirilova and Deputy Administrative Head Hristo Krastev.

The prosecution service pointed out that the main topics of discussion between the two sides will be traditionally
good cooperation in countering illegal migration and other forms of cross-border organised crime, as well as the fight against terrorism. The meetings will also review criminal law issues of mutual interest.
