site.btaGovernment Authorizes Movement of Two Romanian Vessels in Bulgarian Maritime Territory

At its sitting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers authorized the movement through Bulgarian maritime territory and a stay at Burgas Port of a motorboat of the Romanian border police on its return from a Frontex operation THEMIS 2023 in the Mediterranean.

The Council of Ministers authorized the movement of the Romanian research vessel MARE NIGRUM in the Bulgarian maritime territory between September 1 and 20 for an international expedition in the western Black Sea. 

The joint research expedition is held under an EU-funded project which supports research in order to improve the environmental conditions in the Black Sea.
