site.btaMedical University in Pleven Unveils Renovated Courtyard, New Summer Theatre

The newly built Summer Theatre and the renovated courtyard of the main building of  Medical University Pleven were unveiled on Friday evening.

The University Rector, Prof Dobromir Dimitrov, welcomed the academic community, students, staff, guests and citizens of Pleven who came for the celebration, which included music performances. He stressed that the courtyard's renovation is a dream come true in the year in which Medical University Pleven celebrates its 50th anniversary. 

Among the guests were Deputy Minister of Health Petko Stefanovski and MPs.

The construction works began a year ago. In the past months, the courtyard of the University's main building was improved by building a new fence, water cascade, pump room and irrigation system, summer theatre with 320 seats, new landscaping, paths and benches.
