North Macedonia’s Cultural Information Centre and the Bulgarian National Academy of Art organized exhibition composed of over 50 works from the fields of drawing, graphic art, painting, sculpture, photography, digital graphics and video art. It will open on July 11 and will be on display in the Academia Gallery in Sofia until July 30, the NCA said on Friday.
The event will mark the beginning of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Bulgaria, the organizers of the exhibition said.
Gordana Vrencoska, Dejan Ivanov-Margus, Bedi Ibrahim, Mariana Ivanova, Mariyan Dzingarov, and Zoltan Ferenc are among the featured artists.
Curator Ivo Pecov explained that the selection of the authors stems from their connectedness and their desire for communication. "The authors see in contact with each other an opportunity to grow and enrich their inner world by looking at each other's art and perceiving the different types of beautiful,” he said.
