August 9 (BTA) - Prime Minister Boyko Borissov Thursday
congratulated the participants in the Platinum Lion 2018
multinational joint exercise at the Novo Selo training range,
noting the excellent results of the training, the government's
information service said. Borissov  attended the closing
ceremony of the exercise.

The entire process of planning and conduct of the training was
carried out by the Bulgarian Land Forces.

Borissov congratulated the command of the Land Forces for their
excellent performance.

"With exercises such as this, we change mindsets, train combat
and defence and guarantee the security of the Balkans and the
Black Sea region," Borissov said.

Nearly 700 servicepersons with up to 100 units of military
equipment from the Bulgarian, US, Albanian, Georgian, Moldovan,
Romanian, Serbian and Montenegrin armed forces took part in the
multinational joint exercise. RQ/ZH
