Sofia, February 5 (BTA) - President Rumen Radev had a working meeting on Tuesday with the American ambassador to Bulgaria, Eric Rubin, Radev Press Secretariat said.

The meeting, initiated by the President, included discussion of the strategical Bulgaria-USA partnership, global and regional security, bilateral cooperation in economy, energy and science, and the modernization of the Bulgarian Armed Forces.

Radev called for strengthening the bilateral industrial and technological exchange and outlined Bulgaria's ability to establish a much more active partnership with the USA in the spheres of information and communications technology, science and education. RY/TH
