Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski Thursday urged Bulgaria's Defence Minister to immediately dismiss the board of the Terem military repair holding company for incompetence. "The excuses of the management of TEREM - HOLDING EAD and TEREM – Khan Krum EOOD, Targovishte and the real picture – unpaid wages, claims of the lack of orders and insufficient utilization of capacity - shows one thing, the Minister of Defence, Atanas Zapryanov, must immediately dismiss the board of the holding company and find adequate managers to stabilize it financially, pay up the wages of the employees and work out a strategy for the development of the holding and its place in the Bulgarian military production industry, in view of the current geopolitical situation.

Peevski's demands were made public in a press release by the party.

A delay would mean to sweep the finding of a solution for the future of this key for the security of the country sector under the carpet, the press release says.

It transpired in early March that nearly 170 workers at the plant have not been paid their wages for December 2024 and January 2025. They have held protests to press on with their demands.
