Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov described the Constitutional Court as a "political body that that makes its decisions for a particular political benefit" on Wednesday in Sofia.

"Obviously, we have several lobbies here that have worked together. The Constitutional Court is not homogeneous. There is a GERB lobby, there is a [Movement for Rights and Freedoms - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan] Peevski lobby, there is a Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria lobby, there is a presidential lobby. These are the different formations that have their personal appointments inside the Constitutional Court. Three out of these four lobbies have united to insert by forgery the Velichie party in the Parliament", he added regarding the constitutional case on the legality of the October 27 parliamentary elections results.

"According to admissions, including those of [the election services operator] Information Services, there are seven polling stations that have votes, but the Constitutional Court has decided not to count them because there are no relevant ballot papers inside the bags. This is an undeniable violation, but it is very easy to establish when they were removed from there, as these sacks were not teleported. There has been a clear route all along and it is known who had them in their hands and when. Secondly, as the Information Services head has made clear, in the video surveillance they have seen who each of the ballot papers was cast for. Realistically, we know who those votes are for, but the Constitutional Court conveniently made decisions to nullify the elections in those seven polling stations, thus reducing the turnout. Due to that, Velichie goes into Parliament, as far as I know by 10-15 votes. If those 780 votes are counted, Velichie does not enter Parliament. In fact, this is the falsification," Kostadinov said.

He argued that the recalculation of the election results will leave the ruling majority with 121 MPs instead of the current 126 which will turn MRF - New Beginning Floor Leader Delyan Peevski into "the Government's owner".

"Peevski is bringing another party into Parliament. Out of nine parties in Parliament, he will own three", Kostadinov believes.
