Bulgaria's Tervel and Malena Zamfirov (brother and sister) won the mixed team event in the parallel slalom at the Snowboard Junior World Championships in Zakopane, Poland.

In the final, Tervel and Malena Zamfirov outran the first team of the Czech Republic, and in the quarterfinals they tackled the first team of Poland.

The Swiss snowboarders finished third in the final standings.

The other two Bulgarian teams - Petar Gergyovski and Anita Raicheva, placed 11th after they were eliminated in the semi-finals, while Georgi Karadzhinov and Biljana Zamfirova failed to pass the qualification stage and came out 19th position.

Tervel Zamfirov has already won two world titles in the individual events, triumphing in the parallel slalom and the parallel giant slalom, while his sister Malena Zamfirova took silver in both women's events.
