site.btaVazrazhdane MP Waives Immunity upon Prosecutor General's Request of Late 2024

Vazrazhdane MP Veselin Veshev has given consent for the continuation of the criminal proceedings against him in connection with a request received on 19 December 2024 from Acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov, said National Assembly Chair Nataliya Kiselova at the beginning of Thursday's plenary session. Veshev's letter informing that he waives his immunity is dated January 8, 2025. 

On Wednesday, Kiselova announced that three of the six MPs whose immunity was requested had waived their parliamentary immunity - Radostin Vassilev from Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh), Angel Georgiev (Vazrazhdane) and Gunay Daloolu (MRF - New Beginning).
