site.btaIndustrial Production Unchanged in EU, Down in Bulgaria in June 2024 M/M

In June 2024, compared with May 2024, seasonally adjusted industrial production decreased by 0.1% in the euro area and remained unchanged in the EU, according to first estimates from Eurostat published on Wednesday. Industrial production in Bulgaria decreased by 0.2%.

Among Member States for which data are available, the largest monthly decreases were recorded in Ireland with -7.8%, while the highest increase was observed in Romania with +4.0%.

In June 2024, compared with June 2023, industrial production decreased by 3.2% in the EU and by 5.2% in Bulgaria.

Among Member States for which data are available, the largest annual decrease was recorded in Ireland -17.4%, while Greece had the highest increase observed with +9.5%.
