The leadership of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) expressed gratitude to the international liberals for their support to the MRF and its Honorary Chairperson Ahmed Dogan. In a press release on Tuesday, the MRF expressed gratitude to its long-time partners for their support and appreciation for the party's role in Bulgaria’s political process.
MRF's statement reads that for more than 20 years the party has steadfastly followed the path of Euro-Atlantic and European values. For MRF, the rule of law, the rights and freedoms of European citizens, the protection of identity and unity have always been at the heart of politics, the party said.
MRF is united and proud of Dogan’s contribution to the development of the ethnic model of unity in Bulgaria, and supports both Dogan and MRF Chairmen Delyan Peevski and Dzhevdet Chakarov in their efforts to develop their party as the second political force and the first liberal one in Bulgaria, the statement further reads.
Earlier on Tuesday, the office of MEP Ilhan Kyuchyuk, who is also co-President of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, reported that liberals around the world are expressing their support for MRF Honorary Chairperson Ahmed Dogan.
