Taking part online in the third panel discussion on science and universities in Bulgarian media at the 19th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media in the hall of the Izmail State University for Humanities on Friday, Prof. Hristo Beloev, the Rector of the Ruse University of Angel Kanchev said, "We work with many institutions from Ukraine and have contacts with a dozen universities and scientific institutes there. The topic of business should be linked to the scientific institutes we work with. We have a large collective established with the scientific institutes in the field of agricultural mechanization and new technologies in it. We work with academics from the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Ukraine. Thanks to the joint activities that we have with these institutions, the University of Ruse publishes several books - on the one hand, they have scientific content, and on the other hand, they are useful for students and their training in engineering technologies."

He added that despite the current difficulties caused by the war and its consequences, contacts with Ukrainian partners have increased.

BTA is organizing the 19th World Meeting of Bulgarian Media in Odesa, Bolhrad, and Izmail, Ukraine, from June 18 to June 21, 2024. The event is taking place with the support of Aurubis Bulgaria, A1 Bulgaria, Glavbolgarstroy Holding AD, Euroins Insurance Group, Postbank, SOF Connect, and the 13 Centuries of Bulgaria National Endowment Fund.
