site.btaYoung Farmers in Dobrich Receive European Funding

Twelve young farmers and beekeepers from the Dobrich region will receive a little under BGN 49,000 each under the Operational Programme Regions in Growth for the 2014-2020 programming period. The provided grants amount to BGN 586,740, said the Dobrich Regional Information Centre on Monday.

The farmers from the municipalities of Dobrichka, Balchik, Kavarna, Shabla, Krushari, Tervel and the city of Dobrich will invest the grants to increase the area under cultivation and to modernize their equipment.

All of them will also undergo training for the acquisition of professional skills and competences in the field of agriculture, as well as in protecting the environment.
