site.btaEurostat: Industrial Production Up 2.6% in EU, Eurozone, Up 3.3% in Bulgaria in December 2023, M/M

In December 2023, the industrial production increased by 2.6% in both the euro area and the EU, month-on-month, according to seasonally adjusted estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. This is the most significant monthly increase in industrial production since August 2022 for both the EU and the euro area.

In December 2023, industrial production increased by 1.2% in both the euro area and the EU, year-on-year. Industrial production in the EU and the euro area has thus ended a run of nine consecutive months of decline on an annual basis.

Following a 3.9% decrease in November 2023, industrial production in Bulgaria went up by 3.3% in December 2023, month-on-month. This is the most significant monthly increase in Bulgaria’s industrial production since March 2022.

In December 2023, industrial production in Bulgaria decreased by 6.9%, compared to December 2022.
