site.bta115 New COVID-19 Cases in Bulgaria Since Yesterday

July 27 (BTA) - There are 115 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, out of 3,502 samples tested, according to data published on the national coronavirus information portal. The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases reached 10,427, and 4,732 of them are active.

Over the past 24, hours the most COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Sofia District and Plovdiv - 23 cases each, Blagoevgrad with 20 and Varna with 13.

The death toll reached 340, with two new deaths since yesterday.

A total of 607 medical staff have tested positive.

Out of 682 patients in hospital, 34 are in intensive care.

There have been 49 new recoveries since yesterday.
