site.bta5,582 PCR Tests Confirm 270 New COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 11,690

Sofia, August 1 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 11,690 on Saturday after 270 new infections
were confirmed over the last 24 hours, out of 5,582  PCR tests,
according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg.

The active cases are 4,988. The hospitalized patients number
778, including 42 in intensive care.

A total of 146 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
 hours, bringing the total to 6,319.

Nine more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death
toll to 383. ZH
