site.btaNational Sports Games for Transplantees to Be Held in Sofia on November 26

On November 26, transplantees and medical professionals involved in the organ donation and transplantation process will take part in national sports games in Sofia. "Yes! For Life!" will be held at the Vassil Levski National Sports Academy, the Medical Supervision Executive Agency said Friday.

The participating transplantees, among whom European and world champions in competitions for transplantees, will be in joint teams with medical professionals saving lives through the donation and transplantation of organs, tissues, and cells.

The games will start with a swimming competition at the Madara swimming pool, followed by games of badminton, mini football, table tennis, and darts. The winners will be awarded in the afternoon.

The Medical Supervision Executive Agency calls for giving those waiting for transplantation faith and hope, and for working together for more transplantations in Bulgaria and more saved human lives.

"Yes! For Life!" is organized by the Agency in partnership with the National Sports Academy. The games are part of the Yes! For Life! campaign in support of organ donation and transplantation.
