site.bta3,612 PCR Tests Confirm 134 New COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 13,343

August 9 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases
in Bulgaria reached 13,343 on Sunday after 134 new infections
were confirmed over the last 24 hours out of 3,612 PCR tests,
according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg.

Dobrich tops the list of new cases with 32 patients, followed by
 Plovdiv with 21 and Sofia with 17.

A total of 303,536 PCR tests have been performed since the first
 cases were diagnosed on March 8.

The active cases are 5,180. The newly infected persons include 4
 medical staff (3 nurses and 1 orderly), and this category now
totals 749.

The hospitalized patients number 848, including 55 in intensive
care.

Another 96 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24
hours, bringing the total to 7,718.

Three more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death
