Over the past 24 hours, the Odesa Oblast in southwestern Ukraine has been attacked by missiles and drones. Sirens last blared at 11:12 pm on November 2 and were turned off at 1:16 am on November 3, the Odesa City Council said on its website.

"The Odesa Oblast was attacked by Russian terrorists again overnight. Our air defence forces destroyed two Shahed drones. Unfortunately, an infrastructure facility in the region was struck. There were no casualties or major damage," Governor of Odesa Oblast Oleh Kiper said on Friday.

The Bulgarian community in the Odesa Oblast is the third largest, numbering over 150,000 people, according to the official 2001 census in Ukraine. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians reside in Odesa.
