Sofia, July 21 (BTA) - Addressing the new Bulgarian Parliament
during its inaugural meeting Wednesday, Maya Manolova of the
Rise Up BG! Here We Come! parliamentary group said they don't
trade positions or participate in partitioning of power. "The
responsibility and the right lie with the first political force:
There Is Such A People,"  she said.

Manolova said that they were ready to discuss with There Is Such
a People and Democratic Bulgaria support for a government that
would be dedicated to the agenda of the Bulgarian citizens.

"The will of people at the recent elections was crystal clear:
they expect the protest parties [Rise Up!, There Is Such a
People and Democratic Bulgaria] to come together and carry
through a positive transformation, and form an honest government
to take care of the people and not the party elites," said
Manolova.

The main task in the present Parliament would be to comply with
the will of Bulgarians who want to live in a prosperous country
with a rule of law.

"Here we come to oust the thugs out. We have to change the laws
to make any future thug-ization impossible, regardless of who is
 in power," Manolova said.

She said her group will stand up against any politician who
pushes the country to new elections.

Rise Up! will move for continuing the scrutiny of the GERB
government that the short-lived 45th National Assembly started.
It is ready to be part of "a genuine judicial reform and
modernization of the country, said Manolova.

Rise Up! will also move for holding a hearing of the Ministers
of the Interior and of Justice over the motion for removal of
the Prosecutor General.

Rise Up BG! is the smallest group in the new Parliament. It has
13 MPs in the 240-seat legislature. /NV/BR/
