Parliament is discussing at second reading amendments to the Bar Act. At the beginning of the sitting the deputies adopted their agenda for this week. 

It includes a draft decision to extend by 180 days negotiations with Ukraine on the sale of equipment intended for the Belene nuclear power plant project. BSP for Bulgaria had asked for the item to be dropped from the agenda, but the proposal was rejected.  

Also on the agenda is the first reading of amendments to the law on support for farmers, the law on personal assistance and the law on family benefits for children.

The first reading of amendments to the Environmental Protection Act was dropped from the agenda at the suggestion of Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria. 

As the first item on Thursday, the MPs will consider at first reading a draft law on the promotion of volunteering, submitted by Atanas Zafirov (BSP for Bulgaria) and a group of MPs. The item was put on the agenda on the proposal of BSP for Bulgaria.

At the request of Vazrazhdane, the agenda was moved and the second item on Thursday will be the first reading of amendments to the Physical Education and Sports Act. Kosta Stoyanov explained that the bill is consensual and concerns the removal of a discriminatory provision.

Friday will be a day for question time and parliamentary control.
