Bulgaria is negotiating with Israel, France, Sweden and the United States for aircraft to use until the country receives the F-16 Block 70 fighters from the US, Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov told journalists here Thursday. He was speaking to the press after the opening of the academic year at the G.S. Rakovsky Military Academy in Sofia on Thursday. The first F-16s are expected to arrive in Bulgaria in 2025.
