September 12 (BTA) - The "Most Beautiful Boy in the World" of Kristina Lindstrom and Kristian Petri won the top honour, the Master of Art Aurubis Award, at the 2021 Master of Art Film Festival in Sofia, the organizers of the event said.

The Special Jury Award went to "Warsaw: A City Divided" directed by Eric Bednarski.

The youth jury of the festival chose as the best debut film Andrey Koulev's "The Man with the Pipe".

Awards were given in the other categories of the film fest.

This year's edition of the Master of Art Film Festival took place in six Bulgarian cities: Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Stara Zagora, Byala, and Koprivshtitsa.

Organized by Spotlight Production Company, the National Palace of Culture, he Bulgarian National Film Centre, and the Master of Art Foundation with the financial support of the Municipality of Sofia, AURUBIS BULGARIA, the event focused on different artistic approaches to art through documentary cinema.

A total of 18 short films and 50 full-length documentaries were shown at the festival, in the categories of Architecture, Design and Fashion, Art and Power, Contemporary Art, Culinary Art, Fine Art, Photography, Literature, Music and Dance, Theatre and Cinema. ZH
