Health Minister Assena Serbezova has relieved of his post the head of the Pirogov Emergency Medical Aid Hospital in Sofia, Prof. Dr. Ivan Poromanski, over mismanagement, Serbezova's Ministry said in a press release Thursday. In the past four months the Internal Audit unit of the Ministry performed two checks in the hospital and established wrongdoing in the management of the facility. The findings of the checks have been handed over to the Sofia City Prosecution Office.
