Prosecutor General Leaves on
Official Visit to
Britain


Sofia, November 4 (BTA) - Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov
leaves on an official visit to Britain November 4-7 at the
invitation of the Director of Public Prosecutions in Britain,
Alison Saunders, sources from the Prosecuting Magistracy said on
Tuesday.

In Britain Tsatsarov is scheduled to confer with Lord Mance, a
Justice of the Supreme Court, and with David Lidington, Minister
of State at the Foreign Office, serving as Minister for Europe.


The Prosecutor General is also scheduled to meet with
representatives of the British National Crime Agency and of the
HM Revenue & Customs office.

On the agenda of the talks are combatting organized crime and
corruption and witnesses protection. The participants in the
talks will also discuss the good practices of the two
prosecuting offices and concrete investigations of mutual
interest for Bulgaria and Britain. LY /ZH/
