Former SANS Head Sertov Missing, Put on

Wanted List

Sofia, December 8 (BTA) - Former head of the State Agency for
National Security (SANS) Petko Sertov has been put on the
national wanted list since noon on Saturday, Interior Minister
Vesselin Vouchkov told reporters on Monday. Vouchkov said that
the alert for Sertov's disappearance was made by his wife on
Friday evening. She said her husband went missing on Friday
around 6 p.m.

According to information by the national television, Sertov left
his two mobile phones at home and walked out. Sertov's wife
said that she last saw him climbing into a car.

Sertov is the first chairman of SANS after the agency was set up
and served at the post from January 1, 2008 to the summer of
2009. In 2009 he headed the Centre for Prevention and
Counteraction of Corruption and Organized Crime with the Council
of Ministers. Sertov served at the post until March 2013. PK
