Sofia, December 8 (BTA) - Economy Minister Bozhidar Loukarski
Monday presented Edoardo Miroglio with a First Class Investment
Certificate for E. Miroglio EAD winery's investment project to
expand and modernize its Lana facility in Sliven (Southeastern
Bulgaria).

The investment is worth a total of 30 million leva and will be
made on a property owned by the company on the territory of
Sliven municipality. After it is completed at the end of 2016,
it is expected to provide 100 new jobs locally. The newly
appointed staff will undergo training in Bulgaria and Italy
worth some 200,000 leva.

At the ceremony the company owner, Edoardo Miroglio, underscored
that he has been investing in Bulgarian industry for 25 years
and that he exports his produce to 65 countries across the
world. In all these years in Bulgaria, he underscored, no one
has never asked him for a bribe and he therefore considers the
investment environment exceedingly favourable.

This investment is particularly significant in a period when
investments are declining, Loukarski said./PK/BR/
