Gospel Concert to Take Place
on December 18


Sofia, December 15 (BTA) - A gospel concert entitled "Sofia
Believes in Christmas" will take place at Modern Theatre on
December 18, the organizers from the Sofia Believes platform
said.

The programme features traditional gospel songs, such as old
spirituals, acapella songs, and contemporary Christmas and
Christian songs, including Bulgarian ones.

To perform at the concert are Sofia Gospel Choir directed by
Geri Balevska and soloists Alexandra Alkassar, Slavina
Kalkandzhieva and Darena Balevska, with guest soloists Vassya
Popova, Sevinch Ibrahim and Yoanna Tomova, and Teen Spirit
Gospel Band directed by Konstandin Tomov, who will also be
soloist together with Julia Trifon and Svetlin Tomanov. The two
choirs will be accompanied by a band of young jazz performers.
