13 Syrians Who Illegally Crossed into Bulgaria Found Near Stara Zagora

Stara Zagora, Southeastern Bulgaria, June 23 (BTA) - Thirteen
Syrian nationals, who had illegally crossed into Bulgaria, were
detained in the Village of Sredets near Stara Zagora on the
night of Monday to Tuesday, the Stara Zagora Regional
Directorate of the Interior Ministry said on Tuesday.

The thirteen (eight men, two women and three children) were
found during a traffic police check in a Chrysler Voyager
minivan driven by a 37-year-old resident of Harmanli. The
illegals were first taken to a police station in Stara Zagora
and from there to the Special Facility for Temporary
Accommodation of Aliens in Elhovo.
