President Rosen Plevneliev: New US Companies Will Enter Bulgarian Market Soon

New York, September  30 (BTA) - Bulgaria has a very serious
potential and is a centre of some very dynamic industries, said
President Rosen Plevneliev during a meeting with representatives
 of large US companies, members of the Business Council for
International Understanding which incudes many firms that are on
 the Fortune 500 list.

The Bulgarian head of State said that new US investments in
Bulgaria had been agreed at the meeting. "A US software company
will be opening an office here employing 100 developers. Another
 software company has made a commitment to double its employees
from 500 to 1,000 and a pharmaceutical company will be expanding
 its Bulgarian operation, said Plevneliev.

"Bulgaria has its strong points - IT and communication
technology, the software industry, outsourcing, automotive parts
 production and food production. Bulgaria is a regional centre
of IT and communications technologies, the country with the most
 developed software industry and is in the top ten outsourcing
destinations," said President Plevneliev during the meeting.

According to the President, Bulgaria is preferred for its
peaceful policy, tolerance, discipline and is an example of
successful integration.
