Movement for Rights and Freedoms Urges President to Call Meeting of National Security Council over Middle East Crisis

Sofia, October 1 (BTA) - The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) urged President Rosen Plevneliev to summon a meeting of the Consultative Council on National Security over the crisis in the Мiddle East. The call was made by MRF leader Lyutvi Mestan from Parliament's rostrum on Thursday.

Mestan said that the world is changing by the hour and is faced with what might turn out to be the worst geopolitical crisis in decades. "In this situation Bulgaria needs to prepare a clear national position to take to the meetings in Brussels and other international forums," he said.
