Libraries in Bulgaria Enjoy  Growing Popularity

Sofia, March 29 (BTA) - Libraries enjoy growing popularity as they continue to provide useful information on their websites, said the Culture Ministry after a meeting on Monday with their heads. Regional libraries reported 977,000 virtual visits in 2015 and a ten-fold increase in Facebook visits.

In 2015, the 27 regional libraries across the country reported 2,190,914 in-person visits.

On the agenda of the Monday meeting were issues related to a new Public Libraries Register and a new website http://bibliobg.com.
