Bulgarian Government Attaches Priority to Creation of Flexible Labour Market - Minister
Bratislava, July 14 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Government works consistently for ensuring greater flexibility on the labour market, Minister of Labour and Social Policy Zornitsa Roussinova said at an informal meeting of the EU Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council (EPSCO) in Bratislava, Roussinova's Ministry said.
The Minister familiarized her counterparts with the measures, undertaken by the Bulgarian Government to promote the mobility of the unemployed. In her statement she underscored the importance of qualification and life-time learning.
The percentage of the aging population in Bulgaria as well as in the rest of Europe has been increasing, Roussinova noted. In this context, it is important to have solidarity between generations in order to address the challenges resulting from demographic changes and ensure sustainability of reforms, she added.
