Twelve MPs Urge Cabinet to Adopt Northwest Development Programme
Vidin, on the Danube, December 12 (BTA) - Twelve members of Parliament representing the three administrative regions of Northwestern Bulgaria: Vidin, Vratsa and Montana have signed and sent a letter to Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, categorically insisting that even at its next meeting (which may be its last) the Cabinet should approve a Targeted Investment Programme for the Development of Northwestern Bulgaria, Vili Lilkov MP of the Reformist Bloc told BTA.
The signers of the letter recalled that the Government Programme for Stable Development of Bulgaria for 2014-2018 prioritizes overcoming the economic underdevelopment of particular regions, including the Northwest.
