Sofia, June 14 (BTA) - Road carriers will stage a protest on June 25 after the incumbent refused to withdraw a bill setting up a Road Transport Chamber, the Bulgarian Industrial Association said on Thursday. Some 750 busses and 200 trucks are expected to take part.

Bus carriers on Thursday staged warning protests across the country with 1,800 buses in 32 cities.

The transport organizations are unanimous in their demands for the withdrawal of the bill which they say is lobbyist and places the whole authority of the state into the hands of several people with interests in the transport business with serious political protection.
