July 9 (BTA) - Bulgaria is reinstating some of the tighter measures against Covid-19 after a spike in new infections in recent days. The decision was made Thursday at a video conference with the participation of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, the national coronavirus task force and regional governors, where the Health Minister briefed them on the current epidemic situation, said the government press office.

After the Thursday decision, all sports events, indoors and outdoors alike, will be held without audiences. Discos and night clubs will be closed except for outdoor establishments working at half of their capacity provided that visitors can be 1.5 m apart. Celebrations with more than 30 participants, in or outdoors, will be prohibited. MORE/
