September 1 (BTA) - "We have nothing new to say. We won't
back a government formed on your mandate," said There Is Such a
People (TISP) floor leader Toshko Yordanov at a meeting with
the parliamentary group of BSP for Bulgaria in Parliament on
Wednesday.

The meeting lasted for five minutes and TISP reaffirmed their
position that they wonТt back a government on the third mandate
and that the country is headed for new election.

Yordanov said that it is up to BSP whether they will let this
legislature "live for one more week", in order to do something
in connection with the prosecution service.

BSP for Bulgaria floor leader Kornelia Ninova thanked TISP that
they had accepted the invitation. "The fact that we are holding
a meeting is a matter of dialogue and one last attempt to form a
 government," she said.

Ninova recalled that BSP's National Council is set to meet on
Thursday in order to take a final decision on the cabinet
forming mandate.

To be elected, a proposed cabinet must be supported by more
than half of the MPs present in the 240-seat legislature but
there are just 49 certain votes in support of a cabinet on the
third mandate (36 from BSP for Bulgaria and 13 from Rise Up!).
