An open-air photo exhibition will take place in the southern Serbian town of Bosilegrad between August 8 and 11. Visitors will be able to view the work of some of the finest Bulgarian photographers for the second year in a row. This year’s edition of the event will be joined by Alexander Ivanov and Velichka Todorova from Pazardzhik (Southern Bulgaria), Yordan "Douglas" Ivanov from Byala Slatina (Northwestern Bulgaria), and Vladislav Chanev from Kyustendil (Western Bulgaria), the organizers of the GLAS Association in Bosilegrad said.

The people, old houses, landscapes, and cultural and historical sites of the Bosilegrad municipality will be at the heart of the exhibition. Every evening, there will be an open-air workshop where the participants in the exhibition and a selection of photographs taken in Bosilegrad will be presented.

Some of the photographs of last year’s participants - Asen Velikov, Vihren Georgiev and Vladislav Chanev – have been featured in an exhibition titled "Bosilegrad: Before and Now", the GLAS Association recalls.

The exhibition was made possible thanks to the Programme for Support of Expat Bulgarians' Communities launched by Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry.
