Bulgaria for Citizens Movement Joins European People's Party

Sofia, June 2 (BTA) - The Bulgaria for the Citizens Movement
(BCM) became a member of the European People's Party (EPP)
officially on June 1 after the EPP Political Assembly in Oslo
approved the party's membership bid without a single vote
against it, the BCM press office reported.

The news was unveiled by BCM founding leader Meglena Kuneva, who
was in the Norwegian capital. A former European Commissioner,
Kuneva is now Deputy Prime Minister for European Policy and
Institutional Affairs.
