21.8 Per Cent of Bulgarians Live below Poverty Line in 2014

Sofia, October 16 (BTA) - In 2014 the average poverty line per
member of household per month in Bulgaria was 323.75 leva,
according to data of the National Statistical Institute. The
data show that 21.8 per cent of the country's population lived
below this proverty line.

Compared to the preceding year, the poverty line increased by
13.2 per cent, while the relative share of people living in
poverty grew by 0.8 percentage points.
