Two Thirds of Communist-era Bulgarian People's Army Intelligence Archives Handed over to Secret Police Files Commission - Defence Minister
Sofia, February 26 (BTA) - About two thirds of the archives of the intelligence services of the Communist-era Bulgarian People's Army have been handed over to the secret police files commission, Defence Minister Nikolai Nenchev said during Question Time in Parliament on Friday.
A total of 21,191 archive units were handed over to the commission in 2015, and a total of 7,221 remain to be processed and handed over.
Nenchev said he expects the process to be completed by the end of May.
