President Plevneliev to Appoint Elitsa Nikolova as Member of Central Bank's Governing Council


Sofia, March 31 (BTA) - President Rosen Plevneliev has declared his nomination for a member of the Bulgarian National Bank's (BNB) Governing Council, the President's Press Secretariat reported on Thursday. Elitsa Nikolova will be appointed by Plevneliev as a member of BNB's Governing Council.

Nikolova was born on July 24, 1974 in Sofia. She is a graduate of the University of National and World Economy and speaks English, German and Russian.

The BNB Governor, Dimitar Radev, has been informed about Nikolova's nomination. The new Governing Council member's term in office will begin on June 17, 2016.
