Interior Ministry Receives Information about Intended Blocking of Borders by Greek Farmers

Sofia, January 17 (BTA) - The Interior Ministry has received information about intentions expressed by Greek farmers to bloc their countryТs borders, the Ministry said in a press release Tuesday.

The Interior Ministry is in constant touch with the Greek authorities, the press release says.

On Monday Interior Minister Roumyana Buchvarova sent an official letter to her Greek counterpart Nikolaos Toskas in which she voiced a hope that the Greek authorities will do their best to avert a possible escalation of tension at the Bulgarian-Greek border.
