Bikers Open 2017 Riding Season with Call for Road Tolerance
Sofia, April 1 (BTA) - Nearly 5,000 bikers gathered Saturday at the Alexander Nevsky square in the heart of Sofia to open the 2017 riding season and the ensuing procession held up the traffic in many places in the city, Nova TV reported.
The new motorbike riding season was opened with similar processions in other big cities nationwide.
In Sofia The procession was supposed to end in front of the National History Museum at the city's southern ring-road but the bikers could not reach it due to the traffic jams caused by themselves and absence of organization.
At their first gathering in 2017 the bikers called for road tolerance. Their procession was mottoed, "No To Road Aggression".
