Sofia, December 2 (BTA) - President Rumen Radev will be on a working visit to France from December 4 to 6 at the invitation of his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, Radev' press secretariat said Saturday.

The visit is a continuation of the bilateral dialogue at the highest level following the two presidents' meeting at the Euxinograd Palace near the coastal city of Varna in late August.

On December 4, Radev and Macron will hold a meeting focused on bilateral economic and investment cooperation, partnership in the areas of security and defence, education, and culture, as well as on topics on the EU's agenda. The Bulgarian head of State will visit the European Space Agency (ESA) to talk with its Director General, Johann Woerner, after which he will meet with representatives of the Bulgarian community in Paris.

On December 5, Radev will hold a working meeting with French business representatives at the Bulgarian Embassy and will present the investment opportunities in Bulgaria. Also on his programme are meetings with UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development Secretary-General Angel Gurria.

On December 6, the Bulgarian President will visit the French Air Force base in Saint Dizier and will carry out a flight on a Rafale fighter jet.
