Ten Films Included in Programme of
Third Festival of Italian
Cinema in Bulgaria
Sofia, June 11 (BTA) - Ten films are on the programme of the Third Festival of Italian Cinema in Bulgaria. The festival is on in Sofia between June 11 and 16, said the NDK Convention Centre which is a partner of the event.
Honorary guests will be Italian actress Giuliana De Sio and writer - screenwriter - director Federico Moccia.
Picked jointly with the Apulia Film Commission, many of the films have won prestigious awards in Italy.
The screenings will be at the Lumiere Lidl cinema JUne 11-13 and at the Cinema House between June 14-16.
On June 14, Apulia Film Commission and the National Film Centre will sign a cooperation agreement. The aim is to support joint film products between Apulia and Bulgaria.
The Third Festival opens under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture in Bulgaria, the Italian Embassy in Sofia, the Sofia City Hall and various Bulgarian and Italian organizations. LY/LN/
