site.btaFrench Organization Distinguishes Bulgarian Project for Social Change among over 200 Entries from Across Europe

"180 Degrees - a laboratory for innovative arts" has two nominations for the award of the French organization Art Explora. The project is one of the six finalists short-listed among more than two hundred applications from all over Europe, says the 180 Degrees Foundation.

According to the jury, the project has an innovative approach and a positive impact on the community, confirming that creativity has the potential to be a powerful tool for social change. "180 Degrees - A Lab for Innovative Arts" was also nominated for the People's Choice Award.

180° Community Lab is an educational project created in 2021 as part of the 180° Innovative Arts Lab Festival. The programme offers a series of interactive labs, workshops and discussion forums aimed at engaging schoolchildren, students and young professionals in the process of creative development.

The project's mission is to open doors to new knowledge and skills, encourage international networking and facilitate access to art for a wider range of people. The project aims to contribute to a lasting enrichment of cultural life in the country and to become a source of diverse opportunities for artistic development through monthly initiatives throughout the year.
